Kindle my heart.....

When Amazon first released the Kindle I was one of the first customers to buy it and it literally changed the way I read.

I am a voracious reader. I have sometimes read up tp 15 books in a week. Of course I have the luxury of time to do it, but even when I was working a full time job I still managed to get in about 7 books a week on average. What I like most about having a digital reader is that I can save so much clutter and of course trees. Also, by having the Kindle I can get my books instantly and much of the time much cheaper and many times even free.

I love my Amazon Kindle and if I had a few million I would make it a point to buy all my friends and family their very own.

Hopefully this year I can update to the newer generation Kindle which have had great updates that have been made from 1st generation users.

Happy New Year 2010!!!!!

Just few words for the coming year...

This year I will hopefully have a lot more posts to share as I start a new venture, which will have me on the PC and cyberspace a lot more than I have been of late. I also want to take the time each month to look into something new that interest me and may interest others. Some may already be known and others will be relatively new.

To all of us on this earth, I hope the year brings us better things than many of the predictions I have heard for 2010.

The economy is one that I fervently hope for the best, but the reality is that I am prepared for continued struggles.

World peace is always a good thing, but that is one reality that I don't think I'll see anytime soon.

Good luck is all I wish to all those that are struggling and to keep up the hope, faith and will, because once those are lost there is not much to look forward too.

It's a small world in cyberspace.

I remember when I was back in school (junior high and high school) how we anxiously awaited to get our hand on our yearbooks. Well Facebook.com has just given me that feeling all over again.

I have had my Facebook account for a while and of course I have added all my co-workers and best friends who I see often or still run into. This past week I started getting invitations from friends that I went to grade school and junior high 2,000 miles from where I currently live.  Hello, I am talking about people from when we started first grade at 7 and into our tweens in junior high!! I am so happy to see and contact these friends and there are a few that have been so close that we could have just driven by and said hello. A small world indeed!!

Survey says......

If you are looking for a way to get some pocket change, save up for a gift or just want to make some extra cash, then check out some survey sites that actually pay cash!!!

Hey I am just like most of you out there, skeptical. I kept seeing news segments and ads about how you can make cash on the internet filling out surveys and was of course interested, but information on legitimate sites are sketchy so this article is for all those who want to start making the money without having to sign up for something that never pays. But I should warn you; filling out surveys is time consuming, so if you think - sure I’ll answer a few questions to get money - then think again. Surveys can range from 5 to 50 minutes for just one. This is only easy in that you can do this from the comfort of anywhere you are plugged into the net.

I have found a few sites that I have regularly received cash from and I am very happy so far (about a year). Some actually also send you free products to test. Some of the products I have received include a case of free dog food, free shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, pasta sauce, snack foods and the list goes on. But the best reward so far has been the cash. Most send checks to your home and some actually use Pay Pal (which is the best way to get paid).

The biggest downside of filling out surveys is time. From the amount of time they take to be filled out, to be credited to your account and then to be paid out. Some will take a few weeks to be verified to your account and when you submit your balance for payment most sites will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to send the payment.

So if this is something that really interests you and you want to start then you should open an email account just for surveys. You will be bombarded with spam, so this is your best solution. Also to make the most cash and receive free products try to do as many surveys as you can daily. I can tell you that when I really put the effort in it and do them on a daily basis (about 3 hours/day), I was presently surprised in the amount of money I cashed in.

On the bright side, in the times we are living in I guess cash anywhere is a blessing so I will keep you in suspense no longer.

My list of best survey sites are:

http://dollarsurveys.net/default.asp - Great site!! They notify you daily and you take the survey and though they take a while they will pay you via Pay Pal.

http://www.surveyhead.com/ - This is also a good site that offers lots of paid surveys when you fill out your profile.

http://www.surveyspot.com/home.shtml - Awesome site!! By far this site is the best because they really offer lots of surveys that pay cash. I filled one that paid me $20 for about 35 minutes of my time.

http://us.lightspeedpanel.com/US/public/index.us - Great site! Pays via Pay Pal.

http://us.toluna.com/ - Formerly Your2Cents Survey. They also pay very well and do a lot of product testing.

https://www.mysurvey.com/default.cfm - This is a great site too. I have been a member here the longest and I am very happy. They do product testing and they also pay cash.

https://www.opinionoutpost.com/index.php - Pay cash!!

http://www.valuedopinions.com/ - Also pay cash.

Hope these sites help. I’m sure there are more, so I promise to update the list from time to time.
